Phenol Red
Phenol red, also known as phenol red, is a dark red crystalline powder with molecular weight of 354.38 and CAS No. 143-74-8. Soluble in water, alcohol, acetone, almost insoluble in ether and chloroform. It is dark red in the solution of hydroxide alkali or carbonate alkali and stable in the air. It can be used as identification medium in microbial culture; acid and alkali indicator; Determination of blood carbon dioxide; indicator for preparation of disaccharide iron urea medium in bacterial serum test, etc.

Phenolphthalein
Phenolphthalein is a kind of weak organic acid. It is a white or yellowish crystal at room temperature. It is odorless, tasteless, insoluble in water and soluble in alcohol (ethanol) and ether. It is dissolved in alcohol solution to make acid-base indicator. It is colorless in acid solution and red in alkali solution or alkali metal carbonate solution. However, if it is in concentrated alkali solution, colorless tri metal salt will be generated and the red color will fade away. In view of this characteristic, it is often used as an indicator in acid-base titration in the laboratory. The range of color change is from colorless to red with pH value of 8.2-10.0. When phenolphthalein reagent drops into water or neutral and acidic aqueous solution, white turbid substance will appear, which is due to the fact that alcohol is easy to dissolve in water and phenolphthalein in reagent is difficult to dissolve in water.
Pigment Green 18
Pigment green 18 (malachite green) is an organic dye, which is soluble in water and blue-green in aqueous solution. It is widely used in industry, mainly used for dyeing cotton cloth, wool, hemp products, leather, ceramic products, etc.; in addition, malachite green has significant killing effect on fish parasites and molds in fish eggs, so it is also widely used in aquaculture.
Potassium Chromate
Potassium chromate is a kind of inorganic compound, which is yellow orthorhombic or hexagonal crystal at room temperature. Relative density is 2.732, melting point is 968 ℃, toxic. It is easy to dissolve in water. After dissolution, the hydrolysis solution of chromate ion is alkaline and insoluble in alcohol and ether. Add acid to the Yellow potassium chromate solution and the solution turns orange, which is the color of dichromate.
Potassium Oxalate Monohydrate
It is used in medicine, straw hat bleaching, chemical reagent, fabric detergent, anticoagulant for venous blood sample.
Potassium Pyrosulfate
Colorless crystal or nugget. Hygroscopic. Soluble in water, the aqueous solution is strong acid. The relative density is 2.28. The melting point is about 325 ℃. Acid fluxes for chemical analysis. Iron and steel are used as inclusions in electrolytic metals.
Proteinase K
Proteinase K is a powerful proteolytic enzyme isolated from Candida albicans. It has high specific activity and is a key reagent for DNA extraction. The enzyme is active in a wide pH range (4~12.5) and high temperature (50~70°C), and is used for the isolation of plasmid or genomic DNA and RNA.
Pyrocatechol Violet
Reddish brown crystalline powder. Soluble in water and water-containing alcohol, slightly soluble in cold anhydrous ethanol, insoluble in non-polar organic solvents (such as ether, benzene, xylene). The aqueous solution is yellow. When the acidity increases, it turns from yellow to red. When the pH is above 6, it turns to cyan purple. When the pH is above 9, it turns to purple red. The aqueous solution is stable, but easy to be oxidized by oxidant.
Rhodamine B
Rhodamine B is a synthetic red basic fluorescent dye, commonly known as pink flower. As a fluorescent reagent, the dye has been widely used in non-ferrous glass, mining industry, steel and other fields. It is a common alkaline dye in industry. Because rhodamine B is easier to dye on hot pot bottom materials and chili products than other water-soluble dyes, and it is not easy to fade, and the cost is low, so some illegal traders use rhodamine dye to dye these foods, which is inferior.
SODA LIME
Alkali lime, also known as sodium lime, is a white or beige powder, loose and porous, a mixture of calcium oxide (Cao, about 75%), water (H ₂ o, about 20%), sodium hydroxide (NaOH, about 3%), and potassium hydroxide (KOH, about 1%).
SUDAN II
Brownish red crystal, soluble in methanol, ethanol, DMSO and other organic solvents, derived from synthetic dyes. Biological staining agents, such as fatty staining of central nervous tissue.
