It' s a broad-spectrum fungicide and a new type of environmentally friendly multi-purpose cationic polymer. It is easily soluble in water, and its aqueous solution is colorless and odorless. It has many excellent properties such as foaming, no drug resistance, and biodegradability, and has been widely used in plant protection, medicine, industrial products, food and daily necessities for sterilization and mildew prevention. The sterilization mechanism is: the guanidine group has high activity, making the polymer positively charged and easily adsorbed by various bacteria and viruses that are usually negatively charged, thereby inhibiting the splitting function of bacteria and viruses, and causing bacteria and viruses to lose reproductive capacity. At the same time, it is a high-molecular polymer, which can form a thin film to block the respiratory passages of microorganisms, so that the microorganisms are quickly suffocated to death. Polyhexamethyleneguanidine hydrochloride is an ophthalmic compound containing phenylephrine. Polyhexamethyleneguanidine hydrochloride is an antibacterial agent; it is used in the preparation method of multifunctional flame retardant polyester fabric.
