Ferrous oxalate, also known as ferrous oxalate, battery-grade ferrous oxalate can be used as a raw material for lithium iron phosphate, a positive electrode material for batteries, and is one of the main materials for manufacturing lithium ferrous phosphate, a positive active material for lithium ion batteries. Its purity and particle size are critical to the performance of LiFePO4. Stable under normal temperature and pressure, light yellow crystalline powder, slightly irritating. Ferrous oxalate is heated and decomposed into ferrous oxide, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide, which is used as a photographic developer and used in the pharmaceutical industry.
