TMTD is a general accelerator for natural rubber and synthetic rubber, and it is widely used as fungicide and seed soaking agent in agriculture. Industrial synthesis mainly includes peroxide synthesis method [1], air oxidation synthesis method. In addition, the process of using sodium hypochlorite as oxidant and using electrophoresis to synthesize accelerator TMTD has also been reported. The above synthetic methods generally have the disadvantages of high cost of synthetic products. With reference to relevant literature, dimethylamine and carbon disulfide were proposed as raw materials. The process of synthesizing TMTD with hydrogen peroxide as oxidant and water as solvent has achieved high yield (98%) and good product quality (reaching the international first-class product level), and effectively reduced environmental pollution.

This product can be used as curing agent and accelerant of natural rubber and synthetic rubber. It is not frosted, polluted, discolored and easy to disperse. The heat resistance and aging resistance of the vulcanizate are good when it is used in effective and semi effective vulcanization systems. It can release active sulfur at sulfurization temperature, the effective sulfur content is 27%, the operation is safe, the sulfurization speed is slow when it is used alone, and the sulfurization speed can be improved when it is used together with thiazole, tyrum and dithiocarbamate. This product is especially suitable for butyl rubber. It is used to make tires, butyl inner tubes, rubber belts and heat-resistant rubber products. It is also used as the asphalt stabilizer for highway.

Zinc stearate is a white light fine powder. Combustible, specific gravity 1.095, self ignition point 900 ℃ , density 1.095, melting point 130 ℃ , greasy. It is insoluble in water, ethanol, ether, hot ethanol, turpentine, benzene and other organic solvents and acids. Zinc stearate is heated and dissolved in organic solvent, then it becomes colloidal when it is cooled, and decomposes into stearic acid and corresponding zinc salt when it is exposed to strong acid. It has lubricity, hygroscopicity, non-toxic, slightly irritant, pollution-free and non hazardous properties. By using the property that zinc stearate is soluble in benzene and calcium stearate is insoluble in benzene, zinc stearate and calcium stearate can be separated.
