Nimostine hydrochloride is a kind of pyrimidine nitrosourea anti-tumor drug. It is the main drug for the treatment of intracranial tumor and meningeal leukemia with other nitrosourea drugs, such as ramustine, carmustine, smeustine, lomustine, formustine, and estraustine sodium phosphate. It belongs to nitrosourea alkylating agent. It can alkylate DNA, prevent DNA repair, change RNA structure and target fine The structure and function of the protein and enzyme of the cell play an anti-tumor role. It can pass through the blood-brain barrier. Animal experiments showed that 7% - 16% of them entered CSF after intravenous drip, and the highest was 30%. After intravenous drip for 5 minutes, the drug began to distribute in the ventricles. After 30 minutes, the drug concentration in the cerebrospinal fluid reached the peak value with a half-life of 0.49 hours.
