Lomefloxacin belong fluoroquinolones, in vitro antibacterial activity similar with norfloxacin, ciprofloxacin compared with slightly worse, but its in vivo antibacterial activity, including the role of Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus are much better than norfloxacin.
