Benzbromarone (INN) is a uricosuric agent and non-competitive inhibitor of xanthine oxidase used in the treatment of gout, especially when allopurinol, a first-line treatment, fails or produces intolerable adverse effects. It is structurally related to the antiarrhythmic amiodarone.

Taboo

1, to any of the ingredients in this product allergy.

2, moderate to severe renal utility (glomerular filtration rate lower than 20ml/min) and patients with kidney stones.

3, pregnant women, pregnant women and lactating women disabled.

Note

1 persistent diarrhea should be discontinued.

2 can not be taken in the acute attack of gout, because the beginning of the treatment phase, with the tissue in the acid digestion, it may aggravate the disease.
