5- fluorouracil, referred to as fluorouracil for short, is a pyrimidine anti metabolism drug. It is a commonly used chemotherapeutic drug in clinic at present. It has an effect on all stages of proliferation, can prevent the formation of thymine, inhibit the biosynthesis of DNA, and thus inhibit the growth of cancer cells. It is used in the treatment of digestive tract tumors, such as gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, liver cancer, etc. It is also effective for breast cancer, ovarian cancer, lung cancer, bladder cancer, cervical cancer, pancreatic cancer, etc. The cancer treatment cream produced in Switzerland contains 5% of this product. It is mainly used for actinic keratosis and senile keratosis, precancerous dermatitis, single and multiple superficial basal cell carcinoma, cancer stage and superficial basal cell carcinoma after radiation skin disease damage.
